This baton package is very special. Made from the highest quality woods, it is designed to honor someone who has made a significant and lasting contribution to an organization. Our "Ovation" baton is 18 inches long, fashioned from ebony rosewood, with the handle and shaft connected by a sterling silver ferrule. There is a silver plaque attached to the bevelled base, 3" by 1/4," which you can have engraved by a local jeweler. (On this baton, the shaft cannot be imprinted.) This presentation is a thing of beauty, and the method of display will produce more pleasure - and conversation - than something in a closed wooden box. A lovely and lasting tribute for any one who loves music or has loved leading any kind of organization. Please note that sometimes customers want delivery of custom work sooner than we can produce and ship it. In such instances, we are forced to alter production schedules and staff assignments to meet the deadline. In such instances, we must apply a "Rush Service" charge of $40, plus an additional shipping charge to upgrade the service needed to meet the customer's deadline. This applies to orders delivered in the Continental USA only. In all cases we try to contact the customer to understand the parameters as clearly as possible, but we are not always to make contact.
