About Presentation & Gift Batons We have two kinds of batons for honoring individuals or groups, and the categories we use are "gift batons" and "presentation batons." A gift baton can be used for conducting - in fact, it is from our regular stock of batons but with special packaging, and it can be imprinted with an individual or organizational name on the baton shaft. On the other hand, the purposes of a presentation baton are to commemorate and to honor, and because of the special woods used in the creation of the baton, a presentation baton is notsuitable for conducting. Although we cannot imprint on the shaft, our presentation batons have metal (stainless steel or sterling silver) plaques which can be engraved. Some details The presentation of either one is a wonderful way to honor a favorite teacher, board member, executive, volunteer, or leader, and in the last several months we've developed four different possibilities with a range of reasonable prices, and in every case you can imprint the shaft of the baton to make it a very special memento for the recipient.
